Win 2K/video
Micron PC. Replaced on board video with SiS card. Win 2K went crazy- lost everything. Did full re-install. Now the mainboard video will not release to the SiS card and when Win 2k does load it gets to the load screen, goes to BSoD (Blue Screen of Death)and says the video driver did not...- RevBigbird

PCI Simple Communications Controller
PC runs Win2K. Wife has an embroidery sewing machine that plugs into the serial port. Device manager shows yellow question mark at VGA controller and PCI Comm. controller. All efforts to install the drivers (Code 28) have failed. The OS was re-installed, no success. Ideas?- RevBigbird

My wife uses her computer to access the embroidery function of her sewing machine via serial cable. When we first connected this cable it ran fin. Now we get the error message that we need to install "PCI Simple Communications Controller".- RevBigbird
