How do I disable NAV 2005 pop-up messages

How do I format/erase media in BU Exec 7.2 from Older program
I have many Travan tapes that were formatted in an older version of BU Exec (v5 or v6). We are now currently using V7.2. When I try to BU on the tape it wont backup. It tells me that it was formatted using a different program. Tools -> Device Operations -> Erase is grayed out Devices ->...- JackPollack
