Large HDD support
I recently replaced the HDD on an old Gateway 2000 machine with a new 40.0GB HDD. The BIOS for the Gateway will only recognize it as an 8.0GB HDD. I know this is a common problem, and Gateway has already told me that they won't be releasing a BIOS that will support HDD larger than 8.0GB. But...- LANmass

Win2000 vs. WinXP
Could someone please explain why Win2000 would be preferable to WinXP? I'm experienced with WinXP (primarily on home PC's), but not Win2000, and I'm curious as to why anyone would choose the eldest of the two. My assumption is that there are very few differences between the two.- LANmass
