cd not working
I've tried suggestions from similar threads but with no luck. My CD ROM works one day then not the next. The power to the drive is good (LED is on and it opens and closes). I can here a click noise but the disk doesn't spin. I get an error sayind 'D:/ is not accessible, the device is not...- halfwit

I'm trying to fix up an old computer (486). I thought I would add another HDD as a slave (only 1 IDE). Each HDD is under 0.5g and autodetect worked OK. When I ried to boot up it couldn't find an operating system. There is win95 on the master and ms dos on the slave. I removed the slave and reset...- halfwit

My mouse doesn't like the dark!
I had no idea how a mouse worked, regardless I thought I would try and fix my broken rodent. It couldn't move the pointer vertically anymore but had no problems with horizontal movement. Suspecting some fluff contamination I opened her up only to find she was now working fine. Thinking the case...- halfwit
