    XP Pro Screensaver Quit Working

    Anyone experience screensaver to just stop working? Have two computers this has happened to. For a system that was to have been so improved, XP Pro has a lot of real annoyances!

    XP Pro Long Shutdown Time SOLVED!

    The culprit was Ahead Nero v5.5.10.0. Prior to deleting from XP, shutdown took 65 - 70 seconds. After un installing, shutdown took 15 seconds. Thanks to all of you who tried to help resolve this issue. Can anyone recommend a CD burner other than Roxio or Ahead?

    XP Pro Long Shutdown Time

    I have two computers on XP Pro and both take 65 seconds to shutdown or reboot. I have tried the fix in the FAQ section but it tells me I have the wrong operating system when I try to install the patch! Go figure. Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it? Any help will be appreciated.
