Jpgs turning into Bitmaps - what's the real story?
Win98se. Sometimes when saving a .jpg file it will show as an untitled file (instead of file name) with the extension of bitmap (*.bmp). Doesn't seem to be any particular reason - the previous file from the same set will show as a .jpg as will the following file. Have found sometimes changing...- Imawag

Disappearing text in Outlook Express 6
Hi, On some longer messages (particulary one's with several replies) the text just seems to fade out. Can still view the text when highlighting but otherwise not. Win98SE, P3550, 256mb ram with 2.4gig free space on 15gig hd. No spyware (Spybot & Adaware). Any suggestions? TIA John- Imawag

Win98SE - Arrange Icons - Auto Arrange greyed out...
Arrange Icons by Name by Type by Size by Date Are all ok but Auto Arrange is inaccessable (greyed out) Any suggestions/ideas for a fix to this irritation? TIA- Imawag

Low resources after re-install Win98se - slowdown problems

Completing housekeeping by uninstalling unused programs. One of them, ffdshow (multimedia codec), removed necessary system files...- Imawag
