    Error 4 installing Windows 2K

    Wiped a HDD clean, attempted to install Windows 2000 OS but get Error code 4 message. Ran HDD diagnostics and it passed. Tried the drive in another machine and the same 2K OS loaded fine. Brand new OS disk. Any help? Thanks, John
