And it's gone! Poof!
SBS2003 with Exchange 2003, SP2.
I just installed Server 2003, SP1, then SBS 2003 SP1.
Since that time, we've been losing emails arbitrarily.
A client will call and ask why we haven't responded to an email, then I track in in Exch Manager.
I see the message come in and as...
Hi. I've upgraded to ISA 2004. Running MF 1.8 on a W2K server box.
I cr4eated protocols including the IP of the ISA server, listener directing the IP to the citrix box, and published the server.
I can get to my published apps on the internet, but I cannot access any of them.
Here is the error...
I have a Rage XL PCI card in the W2K server that runs Citrix MF 1.8.
I can set the adapter to any color and refresh rate, but it always looks like 256 colors.
It looks like that on the server, but when users connect via ICA (thin clients) their adapter settings appear to work.
Also, a few...
Outlook 2003, SBS 2003 with CITRIX MetaFrame 1.8 on a W2K server.
The user does not always log in through Citrix. Sometimes she uses her laptop, just logs into the network, and computes that way.
We are set up so users can log in 2 ways: into Citrix, or just the network.
So this users...

Hi.
When we migrated from NT to SBS2003, the tech moved TS (licensing and services) from our CITRIX server and onto a member server, which he then made into a DC. I guess he didn't know how to configure TS in SBS2003.
I moved TS licensing back to the CITRIX server and TS to the SBS2003 DC...

or is that like trying to save them to a CD, which is impossible without third party software?
I ask because I am trying to save the shadowcopy files through the backup utility, and when I get to the screen that says where to save the file, I get the following error:
"The backup file name...
I have a client who installed BE 10.1 with CPS for SBS 2003 on their SBS server (their ONLY server).
When they tried to schedule a job from the CPS console, they get an error:
"There must be at least 2 available servers to create a backup job."
I have only worked with 8.5 in the past, and this...
how many licenses come with CE 10.0?
are they named or concurrent?
Do I need to buy extra licenses for system driven reports, that is, reports that are prescheduled?
Thanks!

Hi.
I have a laptop user (XP SP2) who logs into our SBS2003 network. Her signature is there under Mail Format > Signatures.
I'll set it as default, and all will be good for a day or two or even three.
But, within a week, her new emails come up with no default signature.
She can insert it, no...
Hi. I also asked this in the Server 2003 category.
Before our upgrade to SBS 2003, we ran an NT network.
Our users connected through our CITRIX server using thin clients.
Terminal Services was installed on the CITRIX server.

We use an LTO1 tape drive for backup. I recently purchased new tapes, but they sent LTO2 400 gb tapes.
Will these work in the drive, or do I need to send them back?
Thanks,

metaframe 1.8 on W2K server in a SBS2003 network.
Shut down option is disabled through local policy on the citrix server.
User has an account with administrator privileges (so do three others, no issue with them).
At any rate, whether she logs into Citrix from a workstation or a thin client, she...
Hi.
We use SBS 2003 with ISA as our firewall. I need to open port 714 for files to be sent out.
So far, I have created a Protocol Definition and rule referencing the definition.
But, no luck. We still cannot get any files out.
I know I must be missing something.... I just wish I knew what it...
Hello. NT network with Windows 2000 Server running on all member servers.
Yesterday, one server was inaccessible to the network. Upon examination, I found that the WINS IP was changed from 192.168.0.11 to 192.168.3.11.
I changed it back, rebooted, and the IP was back at 192.168.3.11!
There...
Hi!
Windows NT network, Exchange 5.5, Outlook 2000, XP Pro SP2.
THe user has been working along just fine for years. Suddenly about two weeks ago, her email started arriving in the outbox. When she clicks on the outbox in the folder list, the message moves to the inbox.
For example:

Hi. We're migrating from NT to SBS2003.
Right now, our setup is as follows:
DSL into Modem;
Modem into Linux 2.2 Firewall (gateway);
Firewall into network;
PDC runs Proxy, WINS, DHCP.
Here's what I want to do:
DSL into new SBS 2003 DC with ISA server as firewall.
DC will run DHCP.
Here's what...
