    computer will only restart in safe mode

    Computer was rebooted and came back up in safe mode. never done this before. can not get it to start in normal mode. does anyone know why or have any suggestions ?

    Built in speakers will not work

    I had independant speakers attached to my computer for a short while. They had been removed and the original speakers that are built into the computer will not work now. The system show that they are there and that they are working, but getting no sound at all. Have checked the connections...

    had independant speakers installed for a short time. they were diconnected and returned. now i can not get the original built in speakers to work. have a packard bell 7955 puter w/ operating system windows 98. can anyone help in reinstalling the original speakers???

    Can not open outlook emails that have been saved to documents

    Have saved emails received via Outlook to documents many times. Then one day couldn't open the saved files. Keep getting pop up window "open with" have tried several program nothing works including the Outlook msimn one. Any suggestions.

    I saved files to documents and when i went to open, I clicked the "paint" program now nothing will open. How do I change the format back to "image"? Get message that says"Paint cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently...
