I have a directory called uni and I cannot change the group name..
drwxr-xr-x 2 root nogroup 96 Nov 8 11:04 uni
I would like to have it root:sys - I am logged in as root.
the /etc/group looks like this for the nogroup
nogroup:*:-2:
any ideas...

I have a test box NT 4.0 Server and someone changed the administrators password. They apparently shut it down and now I cannot log into it.
Is there anyway of retrieving the password.. I do not have any NT Server CD's for a full restore... HELP!!!!

I have a windows 98 machine and I need to use

I'v done this plenty of times, but this is the first time that I went to install the VPN client and it was grayed out.

I had created a username (which personel gave the wrong spelling) so I tried to rename it to the correct name..
It did not work, so I deleted the name and tried to re-create it but it comes up with this error..
Windows cannot create the new user object because the pre-Windows 2000 logon name...
getting an error trying to use sendmail to an
exchange server 2000.
It looks like it connect to the exchange server but
when it goes back to unix and tries to open up
the dead.letter I am getting cannot open:Permission denied.
why is that..
