I've just discovered that the copy of my 98SE Disk is missing at least one key file (Command) and probably more. Does this mean the system files are missing and if so what I do I do next attempt to make sure that the backup 98 disk is functional??? -P

What are the most simple commands required to install windows 98se from C Drive and not from the CD Drive ????? I already know FDisk, Format, and Setup. -P

More and more I notice a big difference between size of files and size on disk(usually bigger). Why this everpresent discrepancy(both 98 and ME) and which file size should I trust??? -P

About to buy/try a DVD ROM Drive on one of my Pc's. Knowing nothing, I have to ask. Is a 16mb nvidia card enough? How about an 8mb card? Does playing a DVD on Screen eat up memory? 128 here. Does the cpu speed play into the equation? 600-750 okay?? Possibly retarded, -P

Storage 3.2 HDrive suddenly showed bad clusters, so much that windows would announce this upon start up every time and try to run scandisk. Replace drive, but my question is just how related are 'bad clusters' and 'bad sectors' ??? Surface scan showed 2, then after fix, showed 1 bad cluster...
