We had an event that ended up being rooted in a port feeding another switch from a Nortel 5510 went into spanning tree blocking mode. We output all levels of logging to a log server and local log and received no syslog or local log entry for the event. I then too a 5510 to the test bench and...
We lost the server that had the TFTP server running on it. Thus I lost my library of Boos & dial files for the Nortel/ Avaya 470, 5500, 5600, 9000 switches. Anyone have a library they could share as Avaya shut off downloads from their site.
I have a 5510 stack that has multiple L2 VLAN;s on it. It is constantly outputting a spanning tree topology change to our syslog server. The ports are very static, meaning no links are changing status. Any input on what triggers this and if it of concern?

I have a few stacks in different loactions that will not respond to telnet. JDM works fine with them via SNMP. Is there a way in DM to issue a stack reload?
