    Searching text fields from Access database

    Help would be appreciated. How do I restrict the data in an SQL query, the field is text and in the criteria box I enter: Like 'L*' This works in the Access database but when in VB.NET SQL any field length more than one character does not seem to select the records. Can anyone help?

    Hi, I am trying to import images into a control from a directory outside Access. I have no trouble importing the image but a system message comes up with each import that I can't seem to get rid of. I have tried set warnings off with no success. Can anyone help please? Many thanks in advance.
