    can Outlook rules see text in HTML messages?

    I'm attempting to use Outlook 2000 rules to manage incoming SPAM messages. I've setup a rule to check for certain verbage in the body of the message but if the message is in HTML format it doesn't see it. Is this a limitation of the rules or is there a way to see HTML text? Thanks
