Dear Web Gurus,
I have created a one page website for a pawnbroker:-

The contact form looks fine in IE, however in FF the "name" label and field are not aligned.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers,

Dear Gurus,
I have been developing a site in Firefox, and all was looking promising, until I check it in IE6...

I've now looked at it in IE7 and it looks better, apart from a little section missing from the footer, and the page borders not quite...
Dear Exchange Gurus,
I have been tasked with setting up RPC over HTTP. So far I have followed the instructions here:-
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997232.aspx
Everything went OK until I came to test with Outlook. I get a username and password prompt, but it does not accept my...
Dear Windows Gurus,
I have a single Windows 2003 Server and a number of clients running XP Pro SP2.
I am testing a GPO for redirecting my documents to the server. Under the target folder location I have specified "Create a folder for each user under the root path".
My root path is...
Hi,
I'm currently setting up a small office for a client and on my list of things to buy is a firewall which can support VPN access.
In my office we use a Netgear FVS318, however is was a complete nightmare to set up the teleworkers (plus you have to buy licenses for the remote VPN software)...
Dear Office Gurus,
My director has a laptop running Vista + Office 2007.
When he tries to open an e-mail attachment (e.g. Word / Excel) he is prompted for the Office 2003 Professional disk.
He previously had XP Pro and Office 2003 on the machine. I believe he upgraded the OS first, then...
Hi,
I've got an issue with an XP client logging on to a single server Windows 2003 domain. The domain controller is called lothdc1.
One client is experiencing problems logging on. I think others have been affected intermittently too, but only one user is complaining about it at present.
The...

Hi,
I want to vertical align a paragraph to the middle of an image, but I'm having issues:-

Hi,
I'm working on this site:-
http://www.lothburyuk.com/dev/
I had a problem with the lloyds div (grey background) expanding out the bottom of the container DIV, which caused the borders to stop halfway down the page.
I got round this by placing a <br clear:"both" /> in the content DIV...
Dear All,
Firstly, I am not a programmer, so forgive my complete and utter ignorance of all things ASP related.
I am trying to display an RSS feed on a website using some ASP which I found on this website - http://www.tele-pro.co.uk/scripts/rss/rss_content_feed_class_dl.htm
I have downloaded...
Hi,
A client wants to add an RSS feed to his website. I've been doing some research on the Internet and now I'm just more confused :-(
From what I gather you need to use some server-side technology to parse the feed to the browser as HTML. We host the website using IIS, so we can use ASP if...
Dear All,
I have an Access DB that contains a login form. Once a user logs in, they are presented with a switchboard form.
On one PC, after entering your credentials and pressing enter, Access just sits there with the hour glass - The form never loads. When you click cancel Access closes, so...
Hi,
I have a spreadsheet containing details of calls we've received. I need to show calls per week and month.
The date of the call is in A2. I've used =YEAR(A2) and =MONTH(A2) to get the year and the month from the date, then put them together using =(C2)&" "&(D2)
This data then goes into a...
Dear All,
I have a large form based on a table showing details of members. I have just imported a new table into the DB containing the member's addresses. I created a form based on the address table, then added it as a sub-form to my original form.
There is a one-to-one relationship between...
Hi,
I am trying to create a simple, single-column site with a fluid layout and margins around the outside of the page.
Using a DIV with 100% width plus margins, FF interprets the page as larger than the window and hence displays horizontal scroll bars.
Instead, I thought, why not try using...
Hi,
I am new to this forum and relatively new to Access so please excuse the newbie question...
I have created a form using the wizard, and I would like to move some of the components onto a new page. I found the tab control in the toolbox and added a tab to my form. However I don't have a...
Dear Access Gurus,
I have just "inherited" an Access database after a colleague left the company so excuse my n00bness if this is a really obvious question.
The database in question is on a shared network drive and was previously accessed by multiple users simultaneously. However now when a...

Dear Gurus,
I've got a strange situation with a Windows 2003 server (SP1) on a small network. The machine is a new Dell PowerEdge running DNS, Active Directory, RRAS, file & print. There are only about 15 users (all on XP) and I can see from watching Task Manager neither the network traffic...
