    Private folder - access is denied after XP re-install

    I have just had to re-install XP-pro on my PC. Some folders under My Documents were set to Private prior to the re-install. Now I cannot get into the folders - I get the error "Access is denied". I cannot alter the security on the folders, even as an Administrator. Any ideas ? :-(...
