I have report that places info onto labels. There are 10 labels per page (5 x2) and I accomplish this by using a repeating frame.
Whenever there is more data than can fit into the area of one label(repeating frame area) it carries over to the next page and continues instead of the next...
I have report (mailing labels) that I need to start off at the top of the page.
I have the margin set at the very top of the page, but still have the first line starting approx 3/4 inches from the top of the page. This throws off the alignment of the rest of the labels.
Any help is always...
My query uses a union to select two fields from table stu. The two fields are stu_id, class. My goal is to list classes from both semester 1 (S1) and semester 2 (S2) without duplicating classes that were taken in both S1 and S2 (hence the union).
I then want a count of the number of classes...
I have an Oracle 8i database and recently had someone delete an owner using a variety of select statements. Since then I have been having extreme performance problems running reports.
Since learning of the incident I have examined the following:
report sql
sort_shared_size
shared pool
indexes...
I have a couple of reports that used to run fine, now for some reason they take forever (if at all) to run.
I am using Oracle 8.1.7 and have already examined the tables and indexes involved in the processing. I even dropped and recreated the indexes.
Any clues??
