    XP Home--SFC prompting for XP Pro SP2 CD?

    I have a pc that is prompting for the Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD and the pc is running WinXP Home Sp1..anyone ever seen this? Tried to burn the I386 folder from the PC to a CD to see if it would find the files there, and no luck. Anyone seen this? Thanks, Mat

    ECS K7SEM Athlon .13 Core problems?

    I read about the K7SEM having problems with the new .13 core Athlon XP's but I cant seem to find it anywhere...I have been having a lot of problems with them in the last few weeks, since all my CPU's I've been getting have been the .13 core..anyone else have this problem or have a fix for it...

    High CPU usage by svchost-service in taskmanager?

    I have a PC on one of my benches that has unholy high CPU usages in SVCHOST.exe (system-the higher of the 2 by MEM usage), I have investigated all of the systems listed in it in the registry, nothing odd at all with any of them. You can watch the CPU usage spike to 95-100% every 10 or 12 seconds...
