We have cisco Voip running through our firewall (NG fp3).
all seems to work until someone tries to put a call on hold.
the firewall log shows:
tried to open port < 1024
I have no idea how to fix this.
Im having a problem with the rules on our ISA server.
Our ISA server is setup in cache only mode.
At first we only had 1 rule, which was to allow access to any destination to users in the "Internet Access group", it worked fine.
We now have a new office over a WAN link and I want...
I know this might seem like a dumb questions, but i need to know the correct way to do it.
I have a server on our internal LAN that FTPs to a ftp server on the DMZ.
And every half hour, the FTP server needs to ftp back to the internal server.
So i have setup the rules below...
we have about 20 7910s and 140 7940s, and we upgraded our server from 3.1 to 3.3.
the 7940s are saving ring tones. but not the 7910s are not.
after pressing the # key, it displays "saving settings" but the ringtone is still on chirp1
Can anyone suggest some things i should look for?
has anyone got CISCO Voip happening through a check point firewall?
Im trying to find info on what ports and any "watch-outs" to look out for.
Ive just setup a cluster for our mail server.
When i shutdown one server, the clients didnt failover to the next server until they closed there mail-db and then re-oponed it.
Is there a way of making it failover with out having to close the users in-box?
thanX heaps
We have 2 servers in our office that are in a cluster, if one server fails, all office users change over to the other server.
But remote uses still try and replicate with the failed server.
Does fail over work with remote clients?
We have a simple set-up at work, 1 firewall (NG on a 2K server) with a DMZ hanging off the side.
We a looking into having some type of redundancy just incase the server fails...
Can it be done with Checkpoint NG3? And how?
thanX
I created a user in CCM and assigned them to a phone.
2 weeks later i discover that i spelt the name incorrectly, so i created a new user with the correct spelling and deleted the incorrect one from users.
Now, when i search the corporate directory on my cisco phone i get both names <incorrect...
just curious, is it possible to delete users from CCM?
As i was thinking, after a a couple of years the list of users would get pretty big.
I'm using 3.1(3a)
cheers
