Making a VC++ app have process "priority" on WIN2K programatically

Does anyone know how to make an app force itself to become a high (or real time) priority process on W2K? I know how to use Win TaskManager to set the program process priority AFTER my app is executed, but is there any way to do this with my VC++ code without the use of an outside utility? thx
