    T1 protection question

    I am trying to figure out what voltages are on a T1 circuit coming from tel.co.'s smart jack. I need to put surge protection on the circuit before it gets to the IAD/channel bank. Basically I need to now the approximate clamping voltage required.

    Hard Drive Compatibility on PMVS 4 & 5

    I have a Partner Mail VS R4 that won't boot up after a power failure. It seems to have the classic symptoms of a toasted hard drive. I have a replacement hard drive for a PMVS R5 which I purchased as a backup. Now comes the big question--are they compatible?? TBW

    Hate to sound dumb, but is there a rule of thumb that says the PMVS must always follow the last card in the carrier?     Partner Mail VS R5 -cannot use all mailboxes

    I have a customer that has a PMVS R5 with a ACS R3.03 and would like to use all 48 mailboxes-The problem is the higher mailboxes are in the 50's. I can't dial the mailbox numbers in the 50's internally or through the auto attendant. I beleive this is because the dial plan will not go that high...
