I am just about to do a test install of Exchange 2000 on a Windows 2003 server. Can anyone with experience of this give me a few pointers?
I've heard that there is some messing around with active directory but my installation guide doesn't mention an pitfalls, are there any?

If you use static addressing you need to update DNS manually right?
Also someone recently told me they were running an Active Directory network without DNS, i didn't think this was possible is it?

Anyone ever had missing files after scandisk, we ran it on a users laptop and now they are missing two docs they wrote last night they insist they haven't deleted them.

One of our laptop users has admin rights over their laptop we would like to change that to power user. At the moment they log on as local administrator, is there a way to copy all of their documents and settings to a new account that we create (an account migration tool mabe).
