Help!! Win98se fresh install.
I am trying to install Win98se (This is after re-formatting the hard drive)on an old Compaq 4108.Everything goes OK until you get to the final screen (the one where it says it is setting up your hardware.) and reboot,then it just comes to a standstill. Any idea's??- yellownoise

Windows 98 installation
I have tried several times to install Win 98se on an old Compaq 4108.Every time it gets to setting up the hardware and the final boot it stops!! Any ideas as to get around this and make it complete it's installation??- yellownoise
