We are looking at moving our TSM installations to a single IBM 7026-H80 with a StorageTek L700E. We will have approx. 500 clients that need to send data to this server. Does anyone know of any TSM limitations in doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a new Oracle database going into place that will be approx. 300GB. Our DBAs would like to put this in one large filesystem. In the past I have always broken this space up into multiple filesystems. The storage is on an HDS system so it is already presented to the server as RAID5 units...
Is it possible to convert an existing jfs filesystem from not having large files enabled to being enabled without recreating the filesystem?

I was wondering if SUN has any standard documentation for making the base operating system more secure. Our security department is attemtping to put together a UNIX security policy and would like to start with the manufacturers recommendations.

The system clock on my Netra X1 server seems to have stopped. The clock displays:
$ date
Mon Oct 14 11:25:05 EDT 2002
even though hours have passed. Sometimes the time even looses a second.
i.e.
$ date
Mon Oct 14 11:25:04 EDT 2002
I have checked to make sure I am using the REAL date...
