Cannot view 'job' properties

Error 823 on Database 'properties'
What's going on? In Enterprise Manager I open a server and expand 'databases', everything is okay thus far. If I do a right-click 'properties' on a database I then get.... "Error 823: I/O error 64(error not found) detected during read of BUF pointer =......" It then lists page...- Anakim
