Demoting a Domain Controller that is an Exchange 2k server
I inherited a situation where there is an Exchange 2000 server which is also a Domain Controller. I would like to demote this server via dcpromo. Are there any huge risks in doing this? moving disks into different slots
This seems like a silly question...but... I've got a production ML370 G3 with the 6x1 cage and the 2x1 cage. I've got the OS mirrored on the 2x1 and 3 disks on raid5 on the 6x1. Is it possible to move the mirrored disk into the 6x1 cage and not miss a beat? Needless to say, there will be a... -
AD migration - Native vs Mixed
Can someone give me some tips on when the best time is to switch over to native mode on AD? We currently have AD running in mixed mode with a trust to one NT domain. We just finished migrating our users from Exchange 5.5 over to Exchange 2000. Without sounding too stupid, can someone help...- rhoang

Event ID 7023 - [service] terminated....access code invalid
On every one (30+) of my Win2k sp2-sp3 boxes, I get this message after every reboot/bounce... Event ID 7023 "The print spooler service terminated with the following error: The access code is invalid". When I check the spooler service, it's running. I'll also get perflib errors too...- rhoang
