I have a report that uses a query with a lot of variables, sub-queries, and functions. If I add one more entry to to the query, it gives me an error message "query too complex". Is there such limit as to what you can do on a query? Any way to increase this limit? All suggestions will be appreciated.
I've been troubleshooting XP due to shutdown problems, system restore did not work. I tired to isolate problem by going to "diagnostic startup" in msconfig, then "selective startup".... now I'm stucked in safe mode. Setting back to "normal startup" doesnt work. Suggestions anyone?
We have a 2003 server, I could not see any of the other computers/servers in the network, and other computers could not see the server, therefore we could not map to the shared folder on the server. Please help! What am I missing? The folder we want shared is shared properly. Thanks!
Page 1 & 2 of all MS Word documents always prints on one paper. The rest of the pages prints out fine. Anyone knows whats causing this and how to resolve it?
This is weird. One user profile is not acceptting cookies even though cookies are set to accept (using I.E. 6.0). When another user logs on to the same machine, everything seems fine?

Need some expert help on this. After an ISS scan, a UDP Port Denial of Service Attack was found as a vulnerability in my HP-UX, the soltution is;
1. Edit th inetd.conf
2. Comment out echo, chargen etc.
3. Cause the inetd process to reread the configutaion file (e.g. by sending it a HP...
I have 2 Win2K machines that's been doing this. Everytime you browse directories, the "OPEN" window will stall for a good 20 seconds before it responds. Any clue what's causing it, or what the solution is?
