ghuzz You may have had a bad connection which you made good while cleaning. While dust could impair the cooling and lead to overheating, it wouldn't happen while booting, but later after warm-up. Probably an hour or more.

Has MS incorporated it into current releases? If so, which rev includes it? Am going to dual boot Pro over Win98SE and don't want to do the download if it's unnecessary. TIA for any info.
