    Any good (and cheaper) alternatives to Virtual PC

    Does anyone know of an app that can provide some / all of the functionality of Connectix's Virtual PC, that'll run on a Mac / PC . I'd get Virtual PC, but I was quoted about $300 ( not bad, for those earning Dollars - not the case for me)<br><br>well ...?&nbsp;&nbsp;

    newbie - needs to load Mac OS on a need hard drive

    Forgive my ignorance - as I hear it's quite simple (and I have no documentation) - to load a PowerMac from scratch (I'm putting in a new hard drive that has no OS on it ), I have the Mac OS cd - is that all I need ..? I've heard of a startup disk - what's this for ..?&nbsp;&nbsp;

    Anyway to support USB on a NuBus machine

    Given a PowerMac 7100 (NuBus) - is there ANY way to get it to support USB ..?<br><br>Whether it means an intermediate board / device - matters not, as long as one can end up with a USB port or 2.<br><br>I know there are&nbsp;&nbsp;PCI boards that give two USB ports but as for NuBus ...?
