I recently upgraded my serverassist software to the newest version and now i cannot activate it. Is there a way to do this if you have the evaluation version installed? I would just like to avoid losing all my settings. Thanks!

Im.... well i guess you can say upgrading from windows 2k server adv to windows xp pro. This is our utility machine and we need to temp install win XP on it. it wont let me upgrade from server to xp pro. Im thinking of just booting to fdisk but doesnt fdisk have problems w/ NTFS...
I installed the RC1 .Net Server onto a 10 gig partition. I set up Active Dir., DNS, and all that. But is there any way to have .Net Server running in the background while im using my XP Pro partition? Id like to maintain a domain while still having access my PC
OK the way i understand a bit versus a byte is that it takes 8 bits to create one byte. So therefore a 100 megaBIT network connection is equal to 100/8 so in essence it is really a 12.5 megaBYTE network connection. Am i getting this correct? This is why it takes 2 min to transfer a 200 megaBYTE...
I recently installed SP1 on a couple of machines at work. Ever since then ive had a lot of trouble with messenger. If i leave it idle for to long it logs me off. But it doesnt tell me im logged off until i try to talk to somebody. So i can think im available the whole time until i need to talk...
I want to upgrade my PC to a gig of ram. I currently have 1 512 in an Intel 845 mobo. I want performance and price is not the issue. Is it faster to have 1, 1 GB PC2700 stick, or to have 2, 512 PC2700 sticks? Please let me know your opinions. Thanks!
What exactly does dynamic disk do? Is it true that they reduce the amounts of reboots required? I am contemplating running it on new Dell power edges, is this a good idea?
