OK the way i understand a bit versus a byte is that it takes 8 bits to create one byte. So therefore a 100 megaBIT network connection is equal to 100/8 so in essence it is really a 12.5 megaBYTE network connection. Am i getting this correct? This is why it takes 2 min to transfer a 200 megaBYTE...

I want to upgrade my PC to a gig of ram. I currently have 1 512 in an Intel 845 mobo. I want performance and price is not the issue. Is it faster to have 1, 1 GB PC2700 stick, or to have 2, 512 PC2700 sticks? Please let me know your opinions. Thanks!

What exactly does dynamic disk do? Is it true that they reduce the amounts of reboots required? I am contemplating running it on new Dell power edges, is this a good idea? Thx for any input.
