    Too many query boxes in Oracle Report

    Dear all, I am going to decrease the number of query boxes in Oracle Report. Some of the query boxes need to join many tables. Our app. server is much powerful than report server, could it be faster if I create a view to join the tables, and select data from the view in Oracle Report? Thanks...
