Does anyone know if there is a way to tell a call manager analog port to ignore CSID on a fax if it is a string of letters (i.e Pauls Fax Machine) and replace it with ANI (10-digit originating caller)?
I am curious if anyone knows of or could recommend a server/blade/storage sizing and capacity planning tool. Something and not tied to any vendor would be ideal.
Thanks,

We just flipped two of our three ISDN_PRI's to a new carrier. The other (third) PRI is still with the old carrier because the all of our numbers haven't been ported yet.
Now when any of my agents makes a call, it sends their name rather than a generic company name or number.
Who sets this...
We are changing providers and the new carrier wants to know the following:
Line Coding -
Line Frame -
Digit Outpulse -
Protocol -
We are currently using ISDN PRI's with Sprint. Anyone know off hand what LD's I can find this info in ?
Thanks
Does anyone know of a good utility to track the amount of messages being sent by exchange users?

I am using backup exec 9.1 on Windows 2003 server. We just put in a Redhat Enterprise Server ES 3.0 and I would like to back it up.

Thanks
We have an Option 61c. I have a couple of phones throughout the building that have long distance denied (or an NCOS of 3).
However, from time to time, a user needs to make a long distance call from these phones and I would like to be able to give them a authorization code.
Anyone know how I...
Does anyone know how I can block caller ID per agent. I have a bunch of phones as part of an ACD group. Sometimes these agents make outbound calls and our main number shows on the calling parties phone. Or in other words, I don't want the person or office we're calling to see whose calling...
We are using M1 TAPI with out CTI CRM package. The workstations are WINNT4.0.
We are currently licensed for 10 users, but only have 9 TN's registered in TAPI.
Everything worked great for a few weeks and then all of a sudden (out of the Blue) the dialer on the workstations keeps crashing.
I can...
Our VT520 died and we purchased another used one.
I unplugged the old one and plugged the new one in and it won't display.
I plugged the old one back in and copied the setting down on paper and then set the new one up with the exact settings and it still won't work.
Does anyone know why it...
Has anyone used the "direct connect" setup before? If so, how the hell do you get a client to use it?
I am trying to use tapi 2.3.1 and integrate its CTI functionality with our CMS Package. The install to the server was smooth, but I can't make a dman call.
The data dump is done and...

I have installed the server and networked the switch and server with a router in between. However, I don't know what to do from the client.
We want to be able to use it for outbound calls from our CMS package. But...

I have a 2616 phone with what looks like a serial/rs232 connection on the back.
I have found out this is an MCA Device (meridian communications adapter).
I can not find any docs on how to hook this thing up. Does anyone know how to get it hooked up?
Thanks for your help in advance.
We are trying to find a solution that would allow us to interface our M1 c61 with our new CRM (Customer Relationship Management - SQL database) package called OnContact.
We have no documentation on best practices or approach and finding info on Nortel site to use CTI or Meridian Link has come up...
Just curious if there is a good publication beside the NTP's that would give me a solid grounding in understanding the system and services of a Nortel PBX.
The software feature guides and input/output guide are great for understanding the prompts and responses, but I am looking for something...
