FTP existence of a file
If you want to FTP a file, but there is no data in the file that is being FTP'd,occasionally, what commands can you use to check the bytes of the file. If 0, do not transfer, if other than 0 send. I know diff compares to files, but in this case it's only one file. -

I need to delete directories that are older than six months
I am using AIX and need to create a script that deletes sub directories under a directory. These sub-directories are over a year an a half old or more.
