Hi,
How do you specify an XSL file location on a local disk or network in an XML file?
I have a line:
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="L:\XML\XSL\DTE.XSL"?>
But it does not look at that file location for the DTE.XSL file. I have seen examples using File: in front of the L:\ but they...
Windows Remote Desktop Connection saves IP addresses and user names of the previos session. Is there any way to clear this data at the end of a session?

I have a couple of old Compaq Proliant 800 (450 PII) PCs that were given to me. I'm in the process of tidying them up so that I can ship them out to a charity I support in St Lucia. They are only for use as workstations and as such are fast enough. On one I replaced the large case fan by the CPU...
Shutting down XP Pro, I get a Closing Network Connections message that never goes, even after a week (I left it shutting down and went away for a week - it didn't). I thought that this went out with 95/98, maybe it's a backwards compatibility feature?
Any ideas?

I'm having a problem with adding printers, clicking the Add Printer button does nothing. It may be down to Shell32.dll, an error message "The procedure entry point SHCreateShellItem could not be located in the dynamic link library Shell32.dll" appears when opening Command Antivirus and some...

I have somehow managed to loose my HDD in the Boot Device Priority section of the PhoenixBIOS while trying to change the boot priority to floppy. Restoring setup defaults doesn't help, they're still gone. I've disconnected to CMOS
battery and it's still missing. I now can't boot the PC. Ugh...
I look after lots of small peer to peer LAN systems and occasionally one of the PC's will disable the network card, which is a big problem if that's the file server. This is a pretty infrequent occurence but annoying never the less. I have disabled the option to allow the PC to turn of the...

This is more Outlook than XP but, is there a way of forcing ALL e-mails to go out of the default account. Although I have several incoming accounts only one is able to send mail (my ISP’s account) but when I reply to e-mails received on other accounts it tries to reply through the receiving...
I read an article about using a CF card in an IDE adaptor as a replacement for a hard disk to run a simple DOS based PC. They are not fast and not very big but I don’t need that, they are silent and cheap, not moving parts so have many advantages.
My question is, are they durable? Can you...
I have 2 locations that both have a PC running Windows 2000 with 2 network cards. One card is connected to a LAN with a WAN between the two locations and this has a domain which the W2K PC's log into. The other card is connected to an independent workgroup of Windows 95/98 PC’s at each site...
