Easy way to save application settings ...
Hi, does anyone has an idea how to save and restore all settings of an application (lot of components used). I tried already Desawares StorageTools but they do not work with every component I used in my project ... ? Other componets, DLL or source available ? Thank you for every hint. Kind...- Kroner

How to count access of an index in order to trace useless ones
Hi DBAs, is there any automatic statistics available (besides Oracle tracing) in Oracle 8/8i which counts the times a certain index has been used - if a table has some of them, the useless ones can be eliminated quite fast especially if there are plenty (100+) of different queries run against...- Kroner
