    CD-RW & DVD is not being reconize when a New Blank CD is inserted.

    I'm running Windows 2000 professional. Can anyone tell me why both, my DVD and CD-RW will not reconize New Blank CD when inserted into either drives? Just for added info, both drives will reconize cds with data/music already on them. Please resond if anyone can help me resolve this delima. wfp
