    getting open error dbfntx(1004) occasionally in windows 9x not always

    i am occasionally getting a open error dbfntx-1004 (dos error 2) in windows 9x. this problem does not happen everytime but does occasionally appear i have traced it back to a create from statement. i cannot figure out why it does not happen on a regular basis??
