Hi
I bought a new laptop (hp pavilion 15 ac008na notebook) a couple of days ago, and there is just one site that it will not let me access (all other sites are more or less fine).
As the site in question (Moonfruit) is the one I use for my blog, the main reason I purchased the laptop, this is...
Does anyone working at MSN read these forums because I am trying to point out a disgusting banner ad that keeps being forced on me everytime I open my hotmail.
Its for a wrinkle reduction system and portrays an old woman peeling the skin off her face.
Who the hell signed that one off? I have...
Hi
Left my job on Friday and was sorting out my contacts on my PC/blackberry just before I left.
There were a few contacts in there with sort of nonsense names and a number not formatted like a phone number eg. 24690150.
To give examples of the names there was one called Ice Cream and another...
Hope you can help me with a little problem that has been driving me mad.
I generally find the best way to bring up all the e-mails from one person is to click on a recent e -mail from them and then hit the "From" bar to sort by sender. This should bring together on the screen all the e-mails...
Hi
I have a 150 record database with a form at it's front end. It lists the various offices managed by my company and often when I try to add a new record I get the message "This record may not be saved due to a duplication in the Primary Key/Index/Relationship etc etc."
The Primary Key is an...
Hi All
Does anyone know how to tie a cell reference to a cell rather than the formulas it contains.
eg if I have the formula "=a4" I want it to always display what is contained in a4. At the moment if I move the contents of a4 the formula will change to reflect the move and will read for...
Hi All
I want to sort my records in my datasheet by more than one field but I want one category in one of the fields to be placed first.
The name of this category is "L" but there are other categories that come first in the alphabet (eg "P" and "V")
Is there a way I can make it sort in an...

Hi All
I want to be able to "paste" a screenshot of one record in form view on to a Word document.
I nearly achieved this by doing a simple "print screen" but unfortunately the form is a little too big for the screen so not all of it shows.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi
I have been changing text fields to lookup ones on my table, however the drop down menu is not appearing in the form which is the main user interface.
Any tips on how to make this happen?
Many thanks
Harry
Hi
I went into the Startup option under the Tools menu. My intention was to set up my database so that when a user opened it it defaulted to the relevant form rather than the general Access start screen.
I made 2 changes under startup:
(1) Typed in an application name
(2) Unchecked the...
Hi
I am looking for a way to prevent outsiders copying a worksheet and so being able to view information that was hidden in the original.
I have Excel data available to view on a hosting website so my clients can look at it. I only want them to see their own information so they each have...
Hi
Am quite new to VBA programming.
I am sharing a spreadsheet with my clients on a host website. There are a number of different clients on the spreadsheet but I have only given each client access to a filtered version that shows their data alone.
It is password protected but in theory they...
Hi
When I password protect a worksheet the autofilter arrows become unusable.
Is there any way I can arrange things so that the arrows are still usable? ( I have a small amount of VBA knowledge )
Thanks in advance.
