    Cannot open Install.log

    Hi, my XP HE is refusing to uninstall a lot of programs with the above error. The Install.log is in the right place and contains all the correct entries, even re-installing the prog over the top fails to help.     Always have to boot twice!!!

    Whenever i reboot XP HE, it fails just as the welcome should come up. On reboot choose Start Windows Normally and it loads fine. Also if i hit F8 and choose Start Windows Normally that works too!! Have reloaded drivers rolled back u name it, any ideas?

    Ok, i'm guessing its a virus or Trojan I've lost access to my CD/DVD drives, my anti-virus software fails at start up and cannot force to start. I have D/L Panda, AVP, PCillin, norton and everytime i try and run setup, it attempts to uninstall another program? This only happens on AV software...
