Recently our WAN link between two sites was removed. They were supposed to have told me before they did it so that I could properly demote server "B". However, they didn't. Luckily, I had managed to move all FSMO roles to server "A" before the link was cut.
I need to remove server "B" from AD...

I know that questions concerning repairing and restoring SYSVOL have already been posted. However, I've never been able too find any explanation as to why login scripts, group policies and subdirectories randomly "disappear" from the SYSVOL directory.

Have a strange problem that I cannot figure out. Have 2 Compaq rackmount servers. One is a Win2k Domain Controller (server A), the other is a Win2k member server with Exchange 2000 (server B). Very small number of users in this location (40-50).
