updates for win. 98???
real stupid question . i use plain ole windows 98...after using winme i prefer it. question...does the windows updates provide all the needed updates for this os?? or, do i need to look at specific updates like service packs, etc.?? and download these files manually. some day i expect to get win...- DUMDOG

WIN 98 CUSTOMER SERVICE PACK??????
THIS IS STUPID...I KNOW THIS AND I APOLIGIZE. I DID A CLEAN INSTALL OF WIN 98.( FORMER M E USER). DOES THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PACK THAT IS AVAILABLE TO UPGRADE THIS OS WORK? IS IT USEFUL AND RECOMMENDED BY THE "EXPERTS". I`M SCARED TO INSTALL IT AND I WAS HOPING TO GET A LITTLE GUIDANCE...- DUMDOG

wucsp.exe...service update pack
i`ve installed windows 98 and have updated via windows update site. my question is this. will this os benefit with the "service update pack",(wucsp.exe.) or does the windows update provide the same files? i have downloaded this from cnet but am hesitant to install it. thanks in advance- DUMDOG
