    I am thinking about getting a digital camcorder which will no doubt connect to my PC via Fire-Wire, so I will need to install a Fire-Wire port on my PC. I have heard of some cards which have both Fire-Wire and USB2 ports on them, so it seems sensible to get one of these as it will be cheaper...

    Dead USB Port

    I've had my PC for 2 years but have never had anything to connect to its 2 USB ports until recently when I got myself a Compaq iPAQ. However, I can't get my iPAQ to sync via USB on either of the 2 ports (it works fine via serial port). When I go to device manager it says that there is an error...
