    DLT TAPES NEED HELP

    Hi there, I was wondering how I can tell the difference between 35/70 and 40/80 tape's. The actual tapes are not labeled and I have both types of drives but need to know what tapes go in what drive. Thanks

    MEDIA POOL DISAPPEARED

    on friday we ran a monthly back up, when I came in today and put the daily tapes in I noticed that the media pools were gone. CAN ANY ONE HELP Thanks

    35/70 tape and 40/80 tape

    I was just wondering what would happen if I put a 40/80 tape in a 35/70 DLT drive and vise versa, 35/70 in a 40/80 can someone please explain. thanks

    RESTORE "PLEASE MOUNT MEDIA"

    wussup everyone, ok I'm trying to do a simple restore job I have placed the media in one of the slots and when I run the job the "Please mount media" msg pops up so I hit ok but it just keeps poping back and the job cancels. Any one know why this is happening. thanx I appriciate it
