    imported tiff much darker! why?

    Hi! I converted an RGB - PSD into CMYK - TIFF (300dpi) in Photoshop. The TIFF in Photoshop looks nice... but when I import it into PageMaker 6.5 it gets much darker and it has much more contrast! This is NOT a display problem... Because the TIFF looks also completely different when printing it...
