Is there a way to get Acrobat to automatically scan all of the pages in the sheet feeder of a scanner without manually pressing "next page" after each page?

In my office on our Merlin Legend R6.1 V11, with a mixture of BIS-10s and various MLX models, if Joe Bob is on Line 1, and Billy Bob presses Line 1 and picks it up, they can both be on the call with the person.
I need a way that nobody can pick up on a line if someone else is already on...
