Annoying chirps and clicks on idle systems
I've got two of my systems, one at W2k and one XP, connected to stereo systems. I hate desktop sounds, so I've got the sound scheme set to "no sounds" on all of my systems. Periodically some event is causing a click or chirp. I've got a fair assortment of multimedia programs...- willri

New CPU for OLD systems
Does anybody know whether there are any feasible CPU upgrades for either a - Dell Optiplex G1 (P2@350mhz) or a - Compaq Deskpro 4000 5200MMX (P2@200mhz) I'm thinking a Celeron in the 500-800mhz (or 1hz?) range would probably fix many of the problems with those desktops.
