Laptops running Windows 2000, use the office internet connection during the day to connect to a POP server.
When the laptops are taken out of the office, and plugged into a phone socket, Outlook will not initiate a dial up connection...

We have several mobile users who dial in to our server to collect email. Their outlook 2000 clients are set to synchronise. Some of the users synchronisation takes a very long time, with the status box displaying hundreds of emails to be synchronised. In the event, they only receive 2 or 3...
We have a document template we have created which causes Word 97 to crash with a GPF when you attempt to add text and then spell check it. The only workaround I have found is to recreate the template (its a very simple letter template with company logo in the header)

Our server has been traditionally configured to have non deliverable mail sent to the MD. He now wants me to field these emails, and forward them to the appropriate people (where the address has been mistyped etc). I cannot find anywhere to specify an address to send non delivered emails...
Our server is unable to be pinged on the internet, although web browsing, mail delivery etc all work correctly. No configuration changes made apart from open relay settings altered. Any suggestions? Even our ISP cant ping it
