Win2k pdc and bdc, active directory running. For some reason, I cannot log on to the bdc except as administrator. If I sign into the domain from a workstation, I can access resources on the pdc, but not the bdc. Any ideas? Thanks, Rick

recently upgraded my NT 4 servers (pdc and bdc) to 2k. When i try to set a new dfs root, i keep getting the error, "access denied". Can anyone help me? I'm not up to speed on active directory, so would appreciate any help i can get. thanks Rick

My windows 98 boxes access a winNT 4 server and open various databases and indexes in Visul Foxpro. after a period of time, the files start remaining open after the workstation has let them go, up to 30 seconds or more. How can I get this to stop? where do I look for the problem? Thanks, Rick
