    Default printer

    Does anyone know of a way to trick NT into thinking it has a local printer.

    cannot run shortcuts from desktop or start menu etc

    After a reboot the shortcuts will only execute once or twice. No error message is generated. Have checked file associations and registry entries but being an intermittent fault would indicate these ok. I can run programs either from the "Run" or New Task in Task manager. Any ideas?
