Domain Controller
Yes as you can tell I am very new to FreeBSD and UNIX. In a Windows environment there is a domain controller. Is there a similar beast for FreeBSD or UNIX as a whole? If so can someone point me in the direction of a resource that would describe this process. If not, is there a reason why...- shawnpd40

Browsing Active Directory resources
All, I have an odd situation here...we have set up Windows 2000 Server, SP 2. DNS and DHCP is set up and working correctly. We did not install WINS since all of the clients are either W2K Pro or XP Pro. If a user tries to browse for a resource in the Active Directory, none are visible...- shawnpd40

User Manager for Domains
Why can't I use the %username% variable in the user profile path when setting up a roaming profile? Right now we are converting our 200 plus users to roaming profiles. Currently, I create the folder where the profile will reside on the server, then change the profile settings in User Manager...- shawnpd40
